Mercyful Fate - Recording line-up for In The Shadows (1993)
These look to be the only photos of Mercyful Fate featuring the drummer Morten Nielsen. While crediting Nielsen’s contribution within the album’s liner notes, Snowy Shaw is recognised both on the back cover art as the drummer, as well as with a picture of him within the booklet, thus causing confusion as to who recorded on the album.
Nielsen probably got the gig, having worked with Shermann and Denner in their side project, Zoser Mez.
